I have an Onkyo 7.1 receiver...and any Blu-Ray (Norma Rae, Dial M For Murder, The King Of Comedy, ect.) that has 1.0 audio will not play on my receiver. Is there a way to correct this? There are boat loads of button and options on my receiver and I'm a noob when it comes to these things....thanks in advance.

Depending on the receiver/player and settings, mono may be heard from the centre channel only, L + R or sent to all.
I suggested trying PL, as I think I remember reading that it will send mono to the CC. The titles that the OP has listed all have DTS-HD MA mono tracks, it could be a codec issue. They could try switching between, bitstream and outputting PCM or vice versa on their player. |
