It doesn't look right to me. The font is weird, and it just looks so CGI'd to me.

If it's a new transfer/encode with all the missing DVD features, I'll buy it. If it's a cynical money grab, squeezing a few more pennies out of the 2009 pressing, no thanks.

Agreed, especially when there are such nice looking classic artworks they could have used I personally wold have loved it to have been this which looks like one of those old paintings. Having said that though this is easily my favourite of the lot, but still they're all not great imo.

I agree it does look like it's CGI'ed, but I like it!

question: I would assume all the German language parts of the film are subtitled - right? for some utterly bizarre reason, the US bluray release is unsubtitled and one has to switch over to the English SDH track for the translated subs to appear. [EDIT: apparently it's a problem with my LG bluray player - it's for some reason hindering the subs to automatically appear - go figure].

what are the specs on this release? any extras?

The Std blu I have has a DTS track same as the DVD.

When first released this film had an Mono Opt track ,then went to 4 Track Mag then in Leeds they ran a 70mm 6 track print which as far as I know
was not seen in London.

oh that's why the 5.1 audio on the blu sounds good, hadn't realized that a 6-track mix was made
