Small Soldiers is being released in the UK November 6th via a small company called Mediumrare.

As someone who lives in the United States if someone picks up this release, it would be greatly appreciated if you can confirm whether or not this is region free or not as we never got a Blu-Ray release here and there seems to be no plans for a USA release.

It's too bad if this rules out a future Arrow edition. Even Joe Dante has alluded to the fact that the movie was massively interfered with, and I really would like to see it finally done justice, like Burbs and Matinee were by Arrow.

I'll stick with my open matte hdtv personal cap, no dnr and more picture top and bottom. Can't stand these ee and dnr'ed transfers.

The De release has a much higher bitrate than the U.K. release but that doesn’t always mean better PQ. In my experience, Koch Media do put out nice transfers so I know which one I would be ordering.
