Why not a font like this:

It makes it look like one of those cheapo straight-To-VHS/DVD successors.
I love the movie, but won't be getting this. Sorry.

I agree that I prefer having Basil in the title but you may be interested to know that was only added in the video releases as an extra little tribute after the passing of Sherlock Holmes actor Basil Rathbone.

My own quibble is I can’t see Ratigan featured prominently on the cover. A shame really because Vincent Price steals the show in one of the best performances of his career.

UK and Europe official name is Basil The Great Mouse Detective
This is also what is listed under the UK/Europe Disney Classics Canon list of releases

US title is The Great Mouse Detective
USA Disney Canon does not apply to UK/Europe releases and is why there is differences in what is considered a disney classic in UK/Europe
It's not a USA steelbook release it's a UK release

Zavvi have listed as Basil The Great Mouse Detective as they are selling a UK Blu-ray
Artwork should have Basil in the title to match the official UK name of the film

It's because Zavvi are being lazy, and using the existing artwork taken from the US 'Mystery in the Mist' edition:

Zavvi don't do any artwork design with steelbooks that's done by the film studio/distributor

Disney Europe have made an error in using US title
