Any film where the lead character catches bullets with his bare hands is worth anybody's time!

That doc on 80's action movies sounds marvellous ; too bad there's no Guy Hamilton commentary, but the feature length doc will make up for it, if it's anything like the one High Rising made for Lifeforce.

Ironically I have a toshiba with the Australian firmware so for me to change regions it's only a matter of a few pushes of a button but I just prefer region free or locked to A.
Mainly due to me emigrating in a few years and don't want to bring a multi region player with me

I'm guessing Arrow approached Fred Ward and he declined?

Ordered Saw this film in the cinema as a teenager back in 1985. Even remember watching the pilot for the tv series. Now that would have been a cool extra.

Maybe the producers can explain in the commentary why it is that Remo ties a rope around the baddie's neck before he throws him off the lift on the Statue Of Liberty, and in the next scene, said baddie is hanging by his leg?

How does the non death of a random nameless baddie constitute a spoiler?

Mondo Digital

I didn't know there had been a TV pilot as well (to be honest, I hadn't even heard of the film until it was announced by Arrow), that would have made for an interesting extra.

Watched that this morning. It was good but not great, nothing really 'wow' or information you probably don't already know. Glad I watched it and there was one or two moments of info which made me think oh right ok, that's nice to know......I expected a lot more, something I would rewatch every now and then but I doubt I will.
