Persona is my favorite video game franchise, and one of my favorite anime. Anyone else watch the first episode? It's sub'd on Hulu now!

Great start. Animation is as good as always! Yu seems to be the NG+ version. Izanagi was a BOSS too!

I thought it's a mess! it's so rushed and felt like a recap
but since I played the game and watched the first anime, so I'm familiar with the world and know the details already, I can't say that I hated it, or that I won't complete the season

but unlike the first anime, for newcomers, this will look bizarre

Well... It... Is a recap? It's a remake man, with some new things added. I'm not sure what you expected.

hey don't get me wrong, I'll keep watching, like you said, it's like a New Game+, so it's fine by me

I just meant for a 'stand alone' series, if someone with no knowledge of the Game and previous anime, they'd not get it, Yu seemed too cocky from the get go, and the other characters were 'just there'
