This will be similar to the clear slip Korean versions of Thor 2 and Frozen.

Yes and just like Frozen and Thor, these Korean steelbooks that offer only a clear slip overtop worldwide title-less artwork are way way overpriced.

In the US, this will be $22.99 at Best Buy with a debossed title. So remove the title, add a clear slip, and charge double??

Sorry but I ain't buyin it... literally.

Same goes for Zavvi, but with them you don't even get the slip.

I don't know why anyone in the US would order any Marvel steels from Zavvi at $45 a pop, unless they have to have EVERY release of those films. It just doesn't make sense to me when Best Buy will have a better version for almost half the price (potentially).

Then again, I've only been seriously collecting steelbooks for about 4 months, so it could just be over my head.

At least it brings some uniqueness to the table. And I agree about the price but I bet that has more to do with Disney instead of the slip. I mean Kimchidvd was giving away the slips with their exclusives to deter people from buying the other version

Kimchi cancelled it's exclusive because Novamedia is going to start producing and selling them directly. This version is the standard Korean version available everywhere else.

Kimchi could still sell the non-exclusive version but haven't had a listing yet is what I was meaning

Hey everyone!
I heard from a good source that this is going to be glossy with an embossed shield on Cap...

I got in touch with my Scanavo buddy and she said she wasn't allowed to tell me exactly, but she said it is "Very nice looking!"

I would have high hopes for this one

Sweet. I cancelled my Zavvi order a while ago for the cheaper German one. I was planning on cancelling it when the BB version came out or I secured my Blufans copy but based on the very unique embossing I may keep it. I doubt either of the other two will look like that.

Overseas they do pretty good! The recent Zavvi UK steels are pretty excellent. We need Disney to start hooking us up in the US again

Yeh, Thor BBY had a terrible finish imo... I'm just waiting for the Blufans release and hopefully jumping on the GB bandwagon

Yeah I would keep the German one just in case the BBY/NA one flops.

You could always off-load either I bet to someone.
