Right here. Star Wars Battlefront is my favorite video game of all time. I played the unholy shit out of it when it first came out and for years after. I'll definitely be pre-ordering this but closer to the release date. I don't put money down on anything this far ahead of the release date.

Hadn't had time to play this on Xbox One, but will try & get to it soon.

Curious how it fairs against PS4 version which I have played.

I have played both, and the PS4 is just a much cleaner looking version. X1 is pretty good, but ps4 is purdy

I played both betas, and the ps4 had the edge in overall graphical sharpness, but the gameplay was the same. Unless you're playing on a 60-plus inch 4K TV or something the differences seem minor.

I ended up getting the Xbox version because of EA Access, and because I prefer the Xbox' controller for shooters.

Well I played a bunch on my 60+ 4K & the only area that stood out was Endor. That area looked better on PS4. All the other maps, not much of a difference.

Also both consoles scale this game to 1080p

Anyway, it's a fun game on either console & I didn't have issues with networking on either side as well.

Controller on Xbox (Elite) feels much better. The batteries have lasted over 12 hours on it since I got it & the meter still shows over half charged. Hair trigger locks are great for shooters & the rumble in this game is awesome. I like how the AT-AT's rumble the controller when your very close or near by.

All I can say is: this game is freaking EPIC. Most fun I've had in a long time. It's 90% like being in the movie for crying out loud.

On a technical level Star Wars: Battlefront is amazing. The graphics are some of, if not the best around and the sound design is top notch (minus the voice acting outside of Boba Fett). It's such a shame that the rest of the game was given the same amount of attention. And I do not buy the "we wanted to make it accessible so that's why it lacks depth" excuse. The first two games were already accessible and did not lack depth. Why DICE didn't just build the game on top of it's predecessors just makes me scratch my head raw, especially considering they were both widely successful and Battlefront II is considered one of the best Star Wars games among gamers and Star Wars fans alike.
