Do you think the PS4 will/ is capable of supporting Hi-Res Audio?

Pretty sure it uses a similar setup to the PS3 wherein it decodes the Dolby TrueHD or DTS HD audio tracks to PCM and sends it onto the stereo.

Hard to answer. If they offer it in Music Unlimited, sure. Other than that there's no way yet to play media files on a PS4 so no way to know. Once we can do that there shouldn't be any technical reason why it wouldn't play them since they seem to be slightly higher bitrate mp3's.
