Dracula (1931)
Worth watching just for Lugosi's 'children of the night' line Let the Right One In Not just a great vampire movie, a great movie period Count Dracula (1977) BBC television production and one of the more faithful adaptations of the novel. Louis Jordan was an amazing Dracula Fright Night Right up there with The Lost Boys for campy 80s fun Interview With the Vampire Not a big fan the first time around but the BD sort of hooked me Honorable mentions - The Hunger, Underworld Honorable sort of mention - Lair of the White Worm. Not strictly a vampire story but it had all the elements and used them extremely well |

#5.The Lost Boys
#4.Let The Right One In #3.The Hunger (best opening sequence ever) #2.Bram Stoker's Dracula (a mess...but a beautiful mess) #1.Interview with the Vampire (huge Anne Rice fan here.) also love Fright Night, Near Dark, From Dusk Till Dawn, Blade, (where are the blu rays??) and the old Universal Dracula movies. Oh, and on tv I love me some Buffy and Angel. I really do love me some vampires....except for Twilight, I loathe that s@&%. |

![]() Maybe you mean A & C Meet Frankenstein? Bela Lugosi is in it as Dracula. In other films they also "meet" the Mummy, Jeckyl & Hyde, the Invisible Man, Captain Kidd and Boris Karloff . . . but never Dracula. |
