Default Michael Bay & Christopher Nolan both hired to Direct A Pixar Film

Imdb.com listed it on their Trivia section for the Untitled Pixar Animation Film

Christopher Nolan - June 15th, 2018
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2948372/

Michael Bay - November 22, 2017
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2953058/

My response - Hope they don't touch Incredibles 2.

I don't really do animated movies (with the recent exception of Frozen), but if Nolan were involved I definitely at least check it out.

Same here. Both of these guys should make awesome movies under the Pixar banner. Hope it's true.

Default Well that's a first...

It's rare that I'm afforded the opportunity to gaze into the future and already know, with at least some degree of certainty, that there's one Pixar film (Christopher Nolan's of course...), which I'll definitely be seeing in the theater and another (Michael Bay's), that I'll more than likely not bother with at all.

My first instinctual reaction is to call bullshit, but I'd be interested in both, if they came to fruition.

heh

Look, Bay's a nutcase and makes mostly crap movies. But somehow they occasionally manage to entertain (me, at least). And let's face it: Most of is stuff is already 90% animated.

Yeah I'm definitely calling bullshit on this. Especially since it is coming from IMDb.

1.) "Grave of the Fireflies"

2.) "Colorful"

3.) "The Toy Story Trilogy"

4.) "Up"

I think, based on prior conversations, that you might enjoy these, and I certainly would recommend the first two on the list to any cinephile.

I don't think Michael Bay would have the patience required for production on an actual animated film.

I have to miss out on SOMETHING. I do need to sleep, even if it's only once every 2 or 3 nights these days.

I have seen Grave of the Fireflies. Great movie. And it's not that I never see anything animated. It's just that these days it's pretty rare. Very rare, actually.

And the Toy Story movies never appealed to me, at least from the trailers.

Go to the message boards; someone's already claimed that they're just messing around....

Also, Nolan's doing press junkets for Interstellar all over the world, you don't think it's odd that no one - anyone - bothered to ask: "So Nolan, how's your Pixar project coming along?"

Since you thought that "Grave of the Fireflies" was a great movie, try to watch "Colorful" if you should get the opportunity.

PS - Actually, just to let you know ...sleep is terribly overrated and not at all healthy according to the latest medical journals. I'm just saying...

Gawd damn it.

Can't argue that point of what you stated.
