I love musical theatre just can't afford to go and see live shows. Last year I watched the live broadcast of The Sound of Music and last week I watched Peter Pan Live. Regardless of critics who hated the Sound if Music live last year I enjoyed seeing a live production on TV. There is a DVD out for that production but no Blu Ray. It looks like the same thing is going to happen with Peter Pan Live. Why can't they release these on blu ray? It's rare that I will buy a DVD because the picture quality on my blu ray player is bad.

Glad to know you also would like to see Peter Pan Live on blu ray. It really makes no sense not to release both of these on blu ray. Peter Pan looked great broadcast in HD and and don't want to buy a bad looking DVD. |

These are both being handled by Universal and they have pretty much abandoned releasing TV on BD. There are some exceptions for titles that have shown consistent sales but that's about it.
