Default Looking for a blu-ray player with decent dlna

I was thinking of Philips bdp9700. Anyone have experience with this player?

I currently own the oppo bdp103d, but i have had so much trouble with it. Mainly freezes when playing back from dlna. Also alot of freezes and crashes playing regular blu-ray discs.

EDIT:
I ordered the philips BDP9700, all I can say is it's probably the worst player I used so far.
I had no picture and no sound when I hooked it up to my TV. Tried diffrent HDMI cables to no avail.
I finally tried it on another tv, changed the resolution to 1080p but it won't support 4K. There is no hdmi handshake.
In addition to this it is slow and noisy.
This one is going back for a refund.

Now I honestly don't know what player to get. I was thinking of a Sony or Samsung player.

Suggestions?

Thanks.

Sounds to me like you have HDMI problems, not player problems. If I was you, the first thing I would do is replace all my HDMI cables. You seem to have gotten a bad batch there.

Yeah sounds strange, 103 is the best dlna player I've seen. Many other brands have problems like outputting 60hz on 24hz video and such.

Also the mkv support is outstandning and no need for a server running on your pc is amazing

Yeah it is set to PCM.
I tried setting the outputs to just stereo PCM but didn't make a difference.

I can't believe you're having that many problems with your oppo. They have very good customer service so I would give them a ring and see if you can't get your problems with the player taken care of. The 103 D is a highly ranked player. It shouldn't be having all the issues you've listed.

Considering he subsequently bought another player that gave him worse trouble would suggest something insidious.
