Wayne's World 30th Anniversary - Blu-ray Forum

Looks like Paramount will be doing a couple releases for Wayne's World's 30th anniversary. Thy have a Steelbook lined up, as well a double-feature release with both movies. Release date looks to be February 1st.

Already own the db feature so hopefully a remaster but i doubt it with the price.

I wish more classics from the 70s 80s and 90s would get uhd regular and cult classics and the ones that did get uhds but had heavy dnr edge enhancement would get transfers without those issues. Also if they had badly implemented hdr have the hdr improved.

You see the line 30th Anniversary, and realize the theater this originally played in is no longer there.

I wonder if Wayne's World 2 will have a featurette discussing Mike Myers and his issues with Paramount exec Sherry Lansing (he ripped off another movie with his script, Lansing found out right before filming, and she was furious). Probably not.

If the double feature is not the same discs, hope they keep the same special features...though some new ones would be nice.

Crazy sad, isn't it? I remember seeing both films in Golden Ring Mall theaters in Baltimore. And the mall is long gone. Really sad, as I saw a lot of '80s movies there, like The Lost Boys, Batman, etc. Still doesn't compute that it's the 30th anniversary. Really??
