Hey members,
I've never had to post on this topic so I'm not too sure where this thread belongs so forgive me on that. My problem is with my blu covers. I recently moved from an apartment to a duplex and built my own movie shelf in my room dedicated to my movies. Lately I've noticed that random blu's have been "diagnosed" with a terrible sickness of cover art damage. What I mean by "damage" may be nothing to some, but to those who cherish their collection will understand, the paper cover-art has been "warping" on some blu's, basically getting this ripple effect and I have no clue how it has been happening. I'm guessing some humidity or condensation issue, my girlfriend has stated it may be due to the shower steam getting it's way into the room, but I wanted to know if anyone of you guys or gals have had this issue before and how you handled it. If it makes a difference I live in Lodi, CA so we just started getting nasty rainy weather. Any info or help you can provide will be a big plus. Thank you guys. Here is a pic of my shelf to show how I have them stored. |
