Was trying to source this from Hong Kong, but having a HMV steelbook is probably the best news I could have hoped for.

Yeah, that's Stephen Chow.

The Director's Cut of Shaolin Soccer is soooo good. I don't like soccer at all, but that movie ... that ****ing movie... So funny.

Kung Fu Hustle almost killed me.

Those movies should be listed in the dictionary under "hilarious".

This film only seems to be available with huge P&P (amazon.com/ca, yesasia) or an expensive steelbook. Is there a 'normal' option available where you pay for the film and not scalpers?

It's a pre-order anyway. Don't expect low prices for it right now.

And it is available directly from amazon.com. They will of course screw you over with customs fees + postage in case you are from Europe.

Just got lowered to 10 pounds.

And it seems they made a mistake on their "Jack Reacher" (5 pounds w/ any item) offer. When you buy that one (they only do free shipping for orders >= 10 pounds and don't see 9.99 pounds as being enough - zavvi actually does that), it will only ask for 4 pounds.

Amazon UK has PM'd HMV... and for those living outside EU - it's merely £8.33 / $10.40 (before shipping).

With this being a fantastic movie, steelbook and above all Region Free... I highly recommend it.

Ordered this from Amazon UK and finally received it after waiting what felt like an eternity!

Can't wait to watch this movie. It's a blind buy, the trailer looked promising and I've heard many good things about this film. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
And lastly, I'm glad there was no damage to the steel, it was shipped in an envelope.

I know there's a 3D blu ray of The Mermaid. Would be great if they included it in the steelbook. Any pics of the steelbook?
