The lease on the Snowy Peaks Lodge, a popular ski resort, is up for renewal and its owner Pops (Ray Walston, Fast Times at Ridgemont High) has no worries about signing a new lease. Despite his Ski Patrol, an out-of-control group of skiers led by Jerry (Roger Rose, Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives) and Iceman (T.K. Carter, John Carpenter’s The Thing), the resort has an impeccable safety record. However, a devious land developer (Martin Mull, Mr. Mom) has other plans in mind for the resort and hires the talents of a young blonde named Lance (Corbin Timbrook, The Glass Shield) to undermine the Ski Patrol’s efforts to keep the slopes safe.

Featuring an all-star supporting cast including Leslie Jordan (“Will & Grace”), Paul Feig (Bridesmaids), Stephen Hytner (“Seinfeld”) and comedian George Lopez, combined with extraordinary aerial stunts, impressive snowboarding with an incredible downhill showdown, all add to the excitement as the Ski Patrol does their best to save Pop’s Mountain.

I enjoyed it. Of course I was in high school when it was released...so my taste was very much that of a 15 year old. I pre-ordered it. Hoping it holds up, but guessing this will just be pure nostalgia.

with the unrated cut.... not the tv version floating around for years.

I'm down for Ski Patrol, I always liked these movies back when they came out.

I watched it the other night, and enjoyed it. It was funny and entertaining, and didn't overstay its welcome. Good pacing. I've got to say though, I was anticipating a raunchy R rated comedy, but it's actually very tame, PG.

Since winter has arrived and snow is about, I've been in the mood to watch some ski movies. Apart from what I've already got (although, I may be forgetting something), I recently ordered Ski School 2, but it hasn't yet arrived. Are there any obvious ones that I'm missing?

Im a fan of 'Ski movies', Ski Patrol is one of the best imho. Some other favorites to mention-

While it's not a full fledged 'ski movie', Better Off Dead could perhaps squeak on to such a list..

It's not quite the same because they're non-fiction movies, but you could always check out some Warren Miller films.

Is the blu using the same master from streaming platforms? This was one I was originally considering getting the blu, but no real extras kind of makes it a tougher sale.
