Default Search function bombs out under Firefox

Hi there, I'm not sure if anyone's already reported this, but the Search function doesn't work when I log in using Firefox. Whenever I try it, the site comes back with an 'Invalid Action specified' error.

It seems to work fine on Internet Explorer, but I prefer not to use that browser if I don't absolutely have to.

Has anyone else had trouble with the Search function?

No errors when I just tried, but the site feels a bit sluggish.

Do you mean the quick search at the top-middle of the site or some other search function?

Since we're talking about search functionality, the popup "Search this Thread" feature stopped working, so to speak, on the Android Chrome browser a while back. Once the virtual keyboard is displayed the popup disappears so it's not functional at all. The only way to search is to then click on the Advanced Search link to perform a forum or thread search.

Yes this has been a problem on every touchscreen device (Android tablet/phone, Windows phone, Kindle tablet) I've used for probably over a year now

This is unfortunately a vBulletin problem :/

Is this issue limited to 3.8.4? Did the site update or install a patch a while back?

The reason I ask is because the search feature used to work on this site up until the day it stopped working. I also haven't encountered this issue with other sites that use vBulletin.

Strange. I just tried it now, and it still gives me that 'Invalid Action specified' error. (Again, this does *not* happen when I use IE.)

I'm using Firefox 37.0.2--is that what you have?

I've only been using the one on the right: either 'Search this forum' or 'Search this thread'.

That's the one I've been using. I don't use Firefox much as I can't seem to get Flash videos to play properly. I tried 'Search this thread' and didn't have nay issues.

I have noticed that with Firefox, Blu-ray.com, looks slightly different with Internet Explorer, I'm displaying at 1920 x 1080 and the main text is a lot lighter.

I just tried the site with Firefox 37.0.1 and the search feature works fine for me.

EDIT: Updated to 37.0.2 and the search still worked fine for me.
