Man, it's anything but Unfinished Business for that film.

Cinderella $65 million
Run All Night $10 million (I've seen very little marketing for this one)

Totally forgot about the live-action Cinderella film. I assume that's gonna take the weekend.

Really? Seems like there's a commercial for it every 10 minutes. Maybe I just watch too much TV.

I'll say:

Cinderella: $55M
Run All Night: $16M

With Frozen Fever being attached to the film, I think Cinderella is going to do extremely well on the weekend and in the Box Office. The film is receiving a lot of positive reviews from critics and a lot of positive reactions on social media from those who saw early screenings of the film. Even those who were cynical loved it!

1. CINDERELLA - 89.97 MILLION (New)
2. RUN ALL NIGHT - 12.719 MILLION (New)
3. THE SECOND BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL - 6.9 MILLION (-19%)
4. CHAPPIE - 6 MILLION (-55%)
5. KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE - 5.9 MILLION (29%)
6. FOCUS - 5.5 MILLION (-45%)
7. MCFARLAND, USA - 3.39 MILLION (-35%)
8. SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS - 3.33 MILLION (50%)
9. FIFTY SHADES OF GREY - 2.98 MILLION (-46%)
10. THE DUFF - 2.872 MILLION (-40%)

Cinderella is going to be huge. Kudos to Disney for their brilliant marketing job and advertising Frozen Fever like they are. That is going to entice many more to see the film, IMO.

This spot is terrific:

Had this been in 3D I think it could have done 100 Million OW.

Can you blame them though? Besides it's Disney. They're greedy .

What about It Follows? It has really good reviews so far. I haven't seen anything in terms of promotion though.

Wasn't there already a live action Cinderella film done called "ever after"?

I know I'll be skipping this one.

However being a rather weak lineup:

1) Cindy
2) run all nite
3) chappie
4) don't
5) care
6) about
7) the
8) rest

That's because it's opening in 4 theaters.

There hasn't been an adaptation of the classic story in almost twenty years. It's about time the story was reintroduced to the new generation. Ever After wasn't the Cinderella story -- it was loosely based on the fairy tale.

Cinderella will open at 64M
Run All Night will open around 13M
I hope to see a Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel fall to around 7M.

I'll be seeing Cinderella and a second viewing of SBEMH!

Cinderella did 2.3M in Thursday night previews.

Deadline has it at 55-60M for the weekend.

It's hard to peg it. Oz did 2 Million in Thursday shows and went on to do 80 Million for the weekend.

Matinees are strong. Cinderella is looking at 22.5M first day. Deadline now has the projection up at 69M.
