A couple times I have noticed, once while watching House of Wax 3D and the other times Kiss Me Kate 3D, that it looked very flat with no pop out. I complained in the forum about House of Wax and everybody said it looks great.
So I watch it again the next day and sure enough it looks fantastic. The separation with the glasses off is there (there was very little the day earlier) and all the pop out and depth that's I'm supposed to see. So are there some days where your eyes don't want to be tricked into seeing 3D? If I watch a new movie and it looks flat, should I just watch a 2D movie instead and wait until tomorrow for 3D? I've only noticed this twice now, and both were on 50's movies. Could be I've watched several others being unimpressed when I would have been more impressed on a "3D day". Don't have a clue as to how frequently this occurs to me, but I hope it is very seldom. |
