Default Macro shots in Film

Hey Guys,

I am looking for examples of macro shots in film. I know Fincher has done it with Panic Room and Fight Club. I don't care if its a CG replication. For example The Burton Batman title sequence qualifies.

I remember there was a film that followed film or videotape through the projector or VCR in the 90's ... but I cant remember which film that was.

Thanks !

I don't know if this will count for you, but there was a nature documentary from 1996 called Microcosmos. It had many stunning macro shots. Here's the trailer...

The Life documentary features much stunning macro work. (As well as high speed cameras).

It probably happens more than we realize in feature films. But I'm not thinking of any examples off the top of my head.

thanks ...

I'm looking for more stylized POV uses ... like Panic Room where the camera is traveling through the scene.

microcosms was stunning

There's a great scene in Scanners where the camera is flying through the innards of a 1970s era computer.

Check out the safe opening scene in the beginning of Michael Mann's thief, or the waterfall jump scene in Apocalypto.
