Default XML file help - error message

I've been trying to redeem some itunes digital copies - have two different master xml files that are supposed to work on any film but the following error happens:

1. I burned the .dmg file to a disc and run it once the disc is loaded which takes me to the redeem code screen in itunes.

2. After entering the code it shows up on the top of the screen saying that the film is being transferred but right afterwards I get the following error:

Happens with every code I try. I'm on a MAC (OS X Yosemite 10.10.2) with itunes (12.2.0.145)

Have you tried looking at "Purchased"? Sometimes I get the same error while using the XML trick, but it might've gone through anyway if you check your purchases history.

Yep, that was it. D'oh! They weren't showing up in 'My Movies' so I figured the code wasn't even redeemed.

I don't use iTunes very often for digital copies but may finally get an Apple TV. Thanks for the help.

You need to set the option "show movies in the cloud" to see non downloaded movies in the My Movies tab.

The error code is because the movie flle is not actually on the disc to transfer.
