Best Blu for 4K Upscale? - Blu-ray Forum

So I am new to 4K as I recently got a TV that supports it and since the PS4 doesn't upscale blus to 4K I had to buy a player to do so. It will be here this weekend and I need suggestions on what to watch to really get a good 4K experience. So I want to know what movies look the best being upscaled to 4K? Opinions?

Movies mastered in 4K and higher will most likely look best.

Your TV itself will upscale to 4K, it it did not then any non native 4K material would be shown in a window.

As for what content will look best then any 1080p material upscaled will obviously not look as good at true 4K material but any decent BD should still look decent where as any rough BD will look even worse.

I don't believe it's sourced from 4K, but Lone Survior looks remarkably good.

Shot in 5K with a 2K DI, but you're right it does look well done. I imagine this is this case because most of the film was shot with plenty of light.
