Same here. The only one I loved was the original. All the others I played since (N64 and Wii) put an emphasis on luck rather than skill (**** the blue shell). They sound like they're aware of this and while they didn't say it's outright fixed, it's mitigated. Of recent memory Sonic All Stars Racing seems the only one to have done this right. It does look gorgeous though. Shame there's no pre-order bonuses for NA yet that I've seen.

I agree somewhat, although I do love the Gamecube Mario Kart. That and the Super Nintendo Mario Kart are my faves.

I did stop buying them cause no matter how well you raced if you were first you were always getting screwed somehow.

This one looks so good though, I'm definitely in even though I'm not a fan of the motion controllers.

Is motion even needed? I plan on using my pro plus controller for this.

Not sure, haven't kept up with the title. I'm hoping that its not needed though since I'm not a fan of motion.

I'm pretty sure the only "gimmick" is that the gamepads screen will be a horn. Other than that I'm pretty sure all control styles are represented.

I think the codes are locked to your Nintendo ID once you register the Mario Kart code. I will let you know if they aren't though.

Thanks. Someone on another website mentioned that the download code is not tied to the Nintendo ID on which MK 8 was registered, but please let me know if you find out otherwise.

I enjoyed The Wonderful 101. There is a demo of it on Nintendo's store. Its a love it or hate it game though, so check the demo out. And if you enjoyed the demo, you can usually find it on sale for around $30.00

I picked up the game at Target during my lunch break. They were out of the free wheel, but I wasn't particularly concerned about it. I have the official Wii Wheel that came with Mario Kart for the Wii, and I preordered the red and green ones on Amazon that go with the Mario and Luigi Wii remotes.

I haven't opened the game yet. I'm debating if I want to try to get it at TRU instead and return this to Target since TRU has that deal to get 40% off of another game. But even with the discount, I'm not sure if there is anything I'm really looking for now and I shouldn't spend the extra money anyway.

I'm looking forward to trying this game out.

Does the second game have to be for Wii U, or can it be for any console?

I already have most of the major first party games for the system, included Mario 3D and DK. I picked up the Wii U Tekken Tag at Target a month or two back. I have Lego Marvel for PS4, and I'm holding off on Arkham Origins to see if a version with the DLC on the disc eventually comes out for some console. Most of the rest of the titles listed I'm not really interested in.

I use the Pro controller for everything since I just got it 2 weeks ago.
