Default Any decent Anime movies on the horizon?

After experimenting with impulse type purchases I realized I can't watch anime series much anymore. I much prefer the lush animation and worlds created in 90 minutes than I do over 5 hours of a TV series.

I like stuff by Makoto Shinkai if that gives you any idea.

Thanks.

Those aren't really on the horizon, since they came out a long time ago.

I agree with Moonphase though - I'm personally looking forward to When Marnie Was There.

Ghost in the Shell: New Movie is coming out on BD soon.

I'm also eagerly anticipating whenever Ufotable finishes Heaven's Feel.

Also a side note: real OVA's (not those stupid one ep fanservice fests) tend to have nice animation like a movie. Though they're not too common nowadays, something like Gundam The Origin is a good current OVA.

Psycho Pass and a new Ghost in the Shell movie (a sequel to Arise) are coming out next year.

Bad grammar AND a resistance to facts. Great

They're $60 each.

Typo. $60 is still over priced for a 90 minute movie.

BTW, the 150 was meant to be a hyperbole to say that Aniplex's prices are a rip off. We don't need their greedy kind on our shores if they aren''t going to respect their fans enough to actually price their products at American prices when they are selling in America.
