United Kingdom StreetDance aka Street Dance 3D Blu-ray (2010) [Region B Locked/Free] [also anaglyph]

Just thought you'd like to know that an "official" S3D version of this film is due for release on the 5th of November 2010. Unfortunately, like the "official" version of 'Clash of the Titans', this is being released in Germany(I got this information from Amazon's German website).

So that's where I'll be getting my version from, after all, it's just over a month later than the anaglyph(27th September 2010) that's coming out over here(and, I might add, in Germany too).

John.

United Kingdom Street Dance 3D

Hi there,

Does anyone want a laugh? Have just received an e-mail from a friend of mine about the official 3D blu ray of 'Street Dance 3D'. He got his copy from Amazon's French site and was delighted--and puzzled--by the content.

It's a 2-disc set; disc 1 is the official 3D(requiring the shutter glasses) as well as the 2D version. But disc 2 is also a 3D version that needs the red/green glasses(supplied) to view it.

Now, I ask you, what's the point of that? Surely it would have made more sense to put the 2D version on the second disc(for those who don't want the 3D version) and eliminate the awful red/green version, don't you think?

Let me know.

John.

The point is... let say this a ''3D version'' and there would be the 2D version sold separately... the point of the ''3D version'' would be so anybody could see it in 3D so they supply two options so the movie could be watched in 3D; the anaglyph version so if you don't own a 3D ready TV you could still enjoy it in 3D; and the stereoscopic version for those who owned a 3DTV.

So if you would've want the normal(2d version) you would've have to get a 2D only version of the movie.

Is there a separate 2D version out there, then?

Great we are still getting anaglyph. I was hoping that the creation of a new 3D standard would mean the end of anaglyph presentations cause lets face it they suck and they ruin 3D.

When I said 2D version I didn't mean Step UP 2, the normal version that is not 3D. And I thought and still believe that the link I proved you before is Step UP 3 but not in 3D.

If I'm wrong would you care to elaborate and tell me in what part is that you think I'm wrong?

Default Street Dance 3d Full for sale

Hi

I have the full 3D French street dance for sale. Be aware it is 2 discs, one for 3D full and one with the old style 3D.

Both from Amazon - I am selling for 28 pounds with free delivery but only to the UK I will not send overseas.

Let me know if anyone is interested

I actually enjoyed this...and again lovely lenticular front cover! Sure it's corny but the 3D was used very appropriately!

United Kingdom Typical!

I finally got my "official" 3D version of 'Street Dance 3D'(all the way from Germany to the UK) and found that, unlike the French version(this was how I started this thread), there's only one disc. This houses the said "official" 3D version and the 2D. There's no anaglyph.

Not that I would have been iterested in it since I purchased this for the proper 3D(took a brief glimpse at the start of the movie(after I translated the German menu) only to find there's a considerable amount of ghosting. Hopefully this is only at the beginning of the film). I'm not going to watch it today(or even tomorrow) since there's a whole plethora of 3D films winging their way toward me as I write this: 'Dinosaurs Alive' and 'Wild Ocean'. With luck I should have them soon so I'll have a marathon 3D session at the weekend(since I already have my copies of 'A Christmas Carol' and 'Bolt' and the aforementioned 'Street Dance 3D').

Will keep you posted as to what I think of each one when I've seen them.

John.
