I didn't want to start a new thread and figured my question would apply.

I placed an order with Amazon.de back at the end of September and it was shipped out on October 1st from Germany. I live in Alabama and this is the first order I have ever placed with them. I haven't received the items yet and was wondering, for those who have ordered from them before, what type of time frame it takes to get your stuff?

I don't want to bother their customer service until I have exhausted the proper amount of wait time. But it has now been over a month since dispatched and nothing yet.

I just had an order that took just over a month, myself. I don't know what is happening, exactly, but I would give it until next Monday, and then if it still hasn't arrived, you can contact Amazon.de customer service here in English.

The DHL strike is over, but delayed shipping will be the norm through January.

6 weeks is the longest anything should take from Germany...till February.

Expect it.

It is taking up to two weeks from Germany to the rest of Europe. If you need something "German" faster than 6 weeks to the US...check UK and France to see if a 3rd party has it. A lot of 3rd party French and UK sellers have been taking advantage of the DHL strike...and ensuing delays.
