Does anyone else not like the 4K cover? I don’t know, It’s fine I guess but I would of rather got the blu ray cover for the 4K.

I like that it’s an illustration. What throws it off is the black backdrop behind the title. If the illustration extended to the top and the title was in the sky it would be better.

Yeah I just noticed it wasn’t a still, guess that’s a nice touch to it.

I'm going to be honest when I first saw it my thoughts were "eww, why would someone make an exclusive cover like that?" and then realized it was the standard...

It won't stop me from buying it, but I kinda wish it was just the same as the blu-ray...

Looks like no Exclusives for this movie for some reason.

Nothing for Target or Best Buy. Zavvi has a steelbook and Walmart is selling a Blu + DVD + Digital set when the standard is Blu + Digital.

I pre-ordered the standard Blu ray

I’m shocked there’s no steelbook for this. Weird.

Recently saw Ghostbusters: Afterlife on Blu. Amazing film! I was disappointed in both Ghostbusters II (1989) and the third film (2016), but this was a very worthy successor to the original iconic '84 movie. I liked all of the homages to this original, and the story was interesting as well. In fact, I would have to say this movie was perfect - and I rarely say that...even about most films I really enjoyed.

Too many great scenes to list, but I especially liked:

-The beat up Ecto-1, with the cool "side gunner" feature.

[Show spoiler]- The scene in the almost-deserted Wal-mart when the tiny Stay-Puft marshmallow men came out of the bags & started making each other into S'mores, roasting each other over a fire, blending each other up, etc. Sick/twisted, but at the same time extremely funny

-The effects - extremely well-done.

-Phoebe's corny jokes, and her deadpan delivery - which made them even funnier

Great dialogue as well! Definitely some of the best writing I've seen in a recent film. I especially liked the dry sarcasm:

The truth is, I’ve always wondered what lurked inside this haunt box. - Grooberson
Right. Well, the only thing lurking inside here is my slowly dying soul. - Callie

You said you had money saved up. -Trevor
Well, that was before I had children. -Callie

Why should you not trust an atom? Because they make up everything. -Phoebe

[Show spoiler]Great way to end the film, with the far shot of NYC...leading up to the original Ghostbusters theme. Also liked the final scene with Sigourney Weaver & Bill Murray - hilarious

I also recently saw Ghostbusters: Afterlife on Blu. Something that niggled me though:

[Show spoiler]- When Phoebe contacts Ray for help, he informs her about what became of the Ghostbusters after they disbanded, including how their property is now owned by Starbucks. Assume the property to be the Firehouse, but then right at the end we see Winston returning Ecto-1 there.

I take that as a joke. Like how Spirit Halloween takes over old buildings.
