Already posted iirc, BUT, what is 3-D like with Blu?

I think plenty of people have seen hanna montana and that is in 3-D, right?

3-d from a screen really gives me a headache because of the goofy fit of the glasses, that is why I ask. I love Polar Express. I bought that and am getting Elf for my Winter movies... just want to know how much of a pain 3-D will be for aa grouch like me.

As long as it is not another port from the 15 GB HD DVD, I am in. I was sorely pissed at buying that version.

Are these polarized lenses or the red & blue type?

It can't be polarized lenses, there is no way of generating an alternating polarized output from current displays.

It's either red/blue, or the delayed (biological) processing method with a clear and dark lens. But, that requires some parallax creating motion.

Alas, beyond a stunt, I don't see this being all that interesting because it will spoil the colour.

I don't own this yet so I think I'll pick it up. I think it will be worth watching at least once in 3-d and if that isn't good the disc still includes the 2-d version. I just wish I knew if this version was included in the Essential Holiday pack.
