Unhappy 2016 will be a bad year for Canadian Blu-ray consumers!

Well, this is going to be one sad year for blu-ray consumers like myself in Canada. Our dollar is dropping and seems to be continuing to drop. Prices for blu-ray products on amazon.ca have spiked sharply.

Kino Titles have jumped to $35 and $40 dollars each. We are going to feel the crunch this year and online retailers don't seem to be willing to make any effort to induce us to shop.

I buy Kino, Shout an Criterion titles, as well as Warner Archive. Buying from the states just feels like being punished just because we live above the borderline.

I am hoping that someone out there can point me in the direction of some online retailers who have decent prices on products. Right now, the futuer seems grim indeed. Retailers better be willing to make some kind of compromise or blu-ray sales will continue to slump.

With the cost of everything from gasoline to groceries, how many will even consider going to 4K UHD blu-ray discs?
