Not seen this for a long time, used to have it on VHS. Another one to add to the collection then.

One of the few JC movies I've never seen. Can't wait for this.
Also intrigued by the "plus more" comment at the end of the trailer...

Might as well announce the rest of the 70s & 80s movies at this point.

Killer Meteors and Magnificent Bodyguards surely can't be far behind though i doubt 88 will have the courage to release Fantasy Mission Force

Maybe do a fantasy mission force and fearless Hyena 2 bonus discs as part of a limited edition along with another movie?

Why? What’s the issue with Fantasy Mission Force?

Off topic but in that 88 Jackie Chan Trailer, which film is the bit at 0:51 where someone goes out the window of the shopping centre and lands just in front of the car from? I don't remember it

Heart of dragon. In the finished film he landed on the car IIRC.

One of a few of JC's older movies I've not watched and just having seen the trailer online it's all out wackiness dialled up 110%

For that reason alone and based on what I've seen, I'd purchase it!

I'm not that surprised this is coming. OldPangYau and I commented on another thread that we were quite shocked when Half a Loaf was on Criterion Channel last month, along with Fearless Hyena II!

That and the shot of Jackie getting whacked a bit too realistically by Dick Wei are from the Heart of Dragon restored outtakes. I could be wrong, but I think the 88 blu of HOD is the only release with those outtakes in HD, as I think they were on the Japanese DVD (in SD, obviously) but not the Japanese blu.

Fantasy mission force sure is a mixed bag of not too fragrant ingrediences yes But the only selling point and excuse for watching it would be to see Brigitte Lin's hot character and her outfit hehe. So I would not mind having a 4k remastered release of this one again one day
