I watched this at the cinema and was very dissapointed with it tbh. Im led to believe that its a conversion job too and not 'true' 3D which might explain things. There was NO pop out moments and very little depth throughout the movie. All my own opinion of course

I have to agree 100%. I even took off the 3D glasses a few times, wondering why I even needed them. Here's hoping it'll look better on a 3DTV!

I thought the 3D was just OK on this one and was really only effective during the car chase sequence. That being said, I enjoyed the movie quite a bit and am hopeful the 3D effects will be improved for the Blu-Ray release.

Yes, the 3D was a post-production conversion.

There are a few non-converted scenes in 3D. Not everything, but there were reshoots where they used an actual 3D camera.

Best Buy has it down to $24.99. Cheapest price I've seen so far.

I know Amazon will price match and be tax free but Best Buy is the only US retailer I know of that has sprung for exclusive 3D releases, and I do try to buy 3D titles from them as often as possible, hoping it will do a tiny bit to encourage them to do another (Beowulf perhaps?).
Plus there's ebates to bring it down 1% if you order online with in-store pickup. And RZ points.

Hi M8,

I bought it from DVDWorldUSA.com and selected advanced option when ordering. That way if they get it in early they will send it out.. I know they will send early to UK but not sure what other places they will ship out to early.

I was going to import, but with only a 2 week difference, I couldn't condone the extra £10. I just hope the extras are the same.
