Just Cause 2 on PC was a buttload of fun, so I'll be on the lookout for this.

Speaking of Avalanche, what happened to that Mad Max game they're supposed to be developing?

I had a blast with 2. It was one of those games that the action was so over the top that it was just crazy fun. Can't wait to try out 3.

Mad Max on PS4, XB1, PS3, 360 is hopefully still set for a summer 2015 release to coincide with the Mad Max Fury Road Movie starring the guy that played Bane in Dark Knight Rises (Tom Hardy). Thankfully his voice won't sound like Sean Connery in Mad Max or the game.

Mad Max the PS4 game is on my list of open world games to play. They're likely keeping it quiet to avoid spoiling the film perhaps, but then again, they said it's an original story not bound by the movie.

On Topic: Avalanche did a great job with the Bionic Commando like grappling hook and the parachuting. What a cool way to fly. Just Cause 3, good to hear. I hope the landscape has a lot more variety in this one. And improve the vehicle controls please (and with more camera views).

I've never played a Just Cause game before but this does look pretty cool. I'll likely pick this one up when it comes out if it's good.

I always wanted to like 2, I could just never get into it for some reason (especially odd since I liked the Mercenaries games, which were similar but less polished) but I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do with the added horsepower.

JC2 was a pretty average game that was a ton of fun for a while, but it turned into a grind, if you went for 75% to get the trophy or 100% for completion. It was just a huge map with stuff to destroy all over the place. I think it was free for a while with PS+. After FC3 and FC4, it could be kind of a letdown, if you were to play it today. I do look forward to the next installment, though. I like the over the top kind of stuff. Fighting bosses while riding missiles through space.

I could never latch onto a propelled missile and have Rico hang on. The latch always detached.

That wing suit is hopefully there from the start of the game. Would the flaps open up during on foot gameplay I wonder? Hopefully they hide them when on foot and only appear for free falling.

I can't believe Just Cause 3 is set for Holiday 2015 since it was just announced this year pretty much, but glad to hear it if it sticks.

I wonder how Avalanche Studios can juggle Mad Max and Just Cause 3 at the same time, both due in 2015. Probably a big team for each game.

That site is probably from 2013, though it still has the pre-order link. Just Cause 3 is getting all the new info as Mad Max the game is hidden by Avalanche.

Best case is if they're hiding all info to avoid spoilers for the upcoming movie this summer, Road Fury Mad Max. The game would have to release close to the same time if this was the situation, May 15, 2015...

No idea why they wouldn't already have a firm release date by now with 3 months to go. That can't be good. This is the time stores need to be notified, since most stores need 3 months warning for new retail releases.

Personally I found JC2 far more entertaining than any GTA game to date, and one of the best games ever made, regardless of platform.

I've been gagging for this sequel for years, and it's my most anticipated PS4 game this year.

No game does destruction and damage like Just Cause.
