Judge Dredd Blu-ray

Personally can not wait for this, I know it's a corny, "bad" by most peoples standards, 90s action movie but I can't help it I love it. I'm eagerly anticipating the official release date sometime in the mid to late summer

I have owned the German steelbook (region free) for nearly a year. It's top notch for PQ and AQ.

I agree you can't get any better than the German release so I have no reason to buy this again.

One of the worst comic adaptions of all time. Buying it Day 1.

Man, I really hope DREDD knocks it out of the park, and eclipses this poorly conceived dud. Judge Dredd deserves a good movie.

Stallone as Dredd was awesome. I love this film. But as everyone else. I think it will not be superior to the German release. Hope I'm wrong though

And by what I've seen so far, it looks to be solid and more in line with what makes the comics so great. The costumes and set pieces all look note perfect from the photos that have been trickling out.

Stallone was okay whenever he had the helmet on. The moment he takes it off *fartz*

The first 10 minutes of Judge Dredd is a pretty good Judge Dredd movie. Then everything else happens.

Must say I quite enjoyed it, and it looks amazing too.

I liked it for a few reasons:

1) James Earl Jones' flawless opening introduction.

2) Opening scene - "Court's adjourned."

3) Rico's robot.

The most laughable thing about the film is how Schneider survives and no one is in a hurry to get him to a hospital after being shot from 15 ft away with a heavy round.
