Absolutely wonderful film with some killer performances, and a ton of memorable dialogue.

I'll definitely be picking this one up. For me anyways, it has nearly endless replay value. For a while HBO was showing it all the time, and every single time I came across it, no matter what point in the film, I was sucked into watching it until the end -- AGAIN!

Great news! I'm fine with my DVD of The Constant Gardener, but this is a definite pick up. Now pray they don't slather it with DNR.

I hear you, brother. Surprised this one took so long.

I have a real soft spot for this movie -- witty and filled with interesting performances (with a classic Hoffman turn), but at times it does get a bit glossy in its representation of history. Apparently certain people were nervous about some of the suggestions and implications in the original screenplay (which, as I remember, is slightly more explicit about the 9/11 connection).

Huh. I'd like to read that, now.

It's been out in Europe for several years now but I never got around to importing it. I'll definitely be buying this one though since I think the movie is great.

Post-Christmas releases are always disappointing, but there are some good catalogue titles coming out. I can't wait to get this one!

Definitely a fair price in my opinion, I never really understood why this didn't get a US Blu-ray release when it came out. Pre-ordered and can't wait to watch it.

The reason could be political in nature.

This is worth picking up just for Seymour-Hoffman's performance as Gus.

I suppose so. I really was wanting to watch this again after Hoffman died a few months ago and couldn't believe it still wasn't released here. His acting was amazing in this movie.

I bought the DVD back when it came out, watched it once and enjoyed it, but had no desire to ever watch it again. Just doesn't have replay value. I actually traded it in at a Best Buy Upgrade & Save.

It was scheduled at the very tail-end of the format war. the HD-DVD was announced but ended up being canceled, and Universal likely didn't have enough time on the schedule to get a Blu-ray made that could match the DVD release date.

This was one of the most boring movies I had ever watched. In fact, I couldn't even get through the whole thing.

A shame they're not including the deleted scenes or an extended cut. This was, from what I remember, a 2.5 hr movie that was cut down to only 100 minutes at the last minute.
