Distributed by Warner Bros., so it should get a 3D Blu-ray release (assuming WB continues to release 3D discs next year...)

By then they'll just be in a BD-R sleeve that you buy out behind the Best Buy.

Trailer looks OK, bit cheap looking but we'll see. Here's hoping for a great 3D conversion.

I have very low expectations for this, mainly due to Vikander's casting as I am yet to be impressed with her. Fingers crossed for good action and good 3D.

I liked her in Ex Machina. But ya I'm not sure how she will do in an action heroine role.

She doesnt IMO, though she looks like she could suit the new version of Lara. I liked the girl who was the inspiration for the reboot game model.

Yeah, she definitely fits the reboot version quite well; those hoping for the puffy pillows of the 90's game Lara will be disappointed. Honestly, this looks better than the original two films which weren't all the great (although I did think 2nd one was an improvement over the 1st).

Well the actress Alicia Vikander who's playing Lara Croft in this reboot has bared it all in other movies.....so perhaps lol.

As a long time TR fan, I am looking forward to this. However,I am not expecting too much from it. Hopefully it will be fun enough to offset any minor problems within it. Oh,and of coarse the 3D should be top notch(fingers crossed) .

Very glad to see this offered in 3D.

I thought the first Tomb Raider with Jolie was okay, but the 2nd one, well, I won't say anything about it here... So with that in mind, I have more hope for this new Tomb Raider. What they really need to do is offer a massive tomb that surpasses all expectations for what we've seen in prior tomb/Indy movies. Like one of the best tombs in the games where she has to solve complex puzzles, endure traps and watch out for animals, gun fights, etc, but with a gripping storyline too.

Okay, watching the trailer, it's like the rebooted 2014 game on PS4 and PS3 prior.

Alicia Vikander was good in Seventh Son 3D. Ex Machina was interesting, but she didn't have any range understandably since she was

I'm with you Zivouhr. I did not appreciate the Jolie tomb raiders all that much and thought the stories were a bit boring. Given the low bar, I am hopeful this one will deliver.

I liked the first Tomb Raider , it was a good bad flick IMO. I don't remember the second one much. I did preorder the 4K steelbooks though. This one looks .... OK. It also looks like the movie isn't very exciting so all the action parts are put into the trailer.

I don't have high hopes , but I will see it as I'm a big fan of the games.
