Default Orson Welles's best movie (as director)?

What's the best movie Orson Welles ever directed? (including those for which he was uncredited or which were completed posthumously)

It doesn't matter which version, Touch of Evil is my favorite.

As a Shakespeare nerd, I'm inclined toward Chimes at Midnight.

But

Kane

Citizen kane is obviously the most groundbreaking and still a fantastic movie, but the one where his artifices, affectations and desire to be recognised as a genius are less present giving room to tell a simple story, has to be the magnificent ambersons. Its a lovely, deceptively little film, full of warmth and artistry. without a doubt my favorite welles movie

its peculiar how ambersons looks and feels like a work made in maturity, while citizen, othello feel more like the work of a youngster. Touch of evil also feels like the work of a mature master, but ambersons was made when welles was in his 20s, which is astounding

I voted for Macbeth, but Ambersons and Touch of Evil are favorites too.

Touch of Evil for me
The Trial & Chimes at Midnight deserve more love, certainly Gilliam's career owes a lot to those films.
