well i didnt really see it, i was on this forum and i heard it( the tv is behind me)it had the same song, i thought is was the same commercial, until the very end when it said: blu-ray movies on ps3

its about time the fixed that.

Actually, that whole commercial was all blu-ray movie footage. I noticed this ad on Sunday during one of the football games. Finally, they have the right idea!

I saw this today for the first time. I kept waiting for it to switch to some games but it never did, and showed some of the top blu-ray releases!! I'm sure some people were scratching there heads as to why a video game console commercial was only showing movies and perhaps prompted them to actually do a lil research on the ps3's capabilities, or actually READ the box/manual of the machine they already purchased!!

Great commercial though.

There is a bucnh of ps3 commericals with that theme know with the ps3 and the song by Saliva called Ladies & Gentlemen.

I saw an ad like this at the theater this weekend. It was one of those extended commercials (probably a minute long) and they spent a lot of that minute on Blu. Seeing that I was there to watch Golden Compass and the ad showed a lot of Disney... I think they reached their target audience!

Yeah I saw it too and said it was about time. They showed clips from Spiderman3 and POTC and some of their other big BD movies, so that was great, finally getting the word out there to the uninformed masses. I found myelf explaining to my sister how she should take back the Wii she bought my nephews and get a PS3. She didn't know any of the stuff it could do and how it was so much more than a wee wee.

When talking to a coworker about the PS3, I was able to convince him on it rather than the Apple TV for content streaming from his home network. He then told his friend, who already owned the Apple TV, and he went looking for the PS3 as well.

Yea, I saw this ad lastnight. I was trying to find it on youtube after to post the link on here for everyone enjoyment. Anyway, the "Universe of Entertainment” campaign for the PS3 is very exciting. One of the best campaigns I have seen in a long time. TBWA\Chiat\Day is doing a great job with getting the PS3 into the spotlight.
