Even though I am not shackled by the dreaded WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor), when I did out our living room into a home cinema, I decided to keep it fairly discrete so it would function as both.
Wanting a room insulated from the outside world, I ensured that that natural light would be absent and noise be similarly kept at bay. Below are images which were achieved on my meagre budget, but gives me a fun time watching movies. 1) Boys to the left, girls to the right. Actually, the Missus has more action movies that I have, so let's not go down the gender route. hcvista.jpg 2) Side view. Chose to hang TV on wall purely for aesthetics. homecin1.jpg 3) Front on: hcpic.jpg 4) Crap picture, but LED lighting behind screen: hcled.jpg 5) Reclining seats. hcseating.jpg Continued below... |
