Probably a stupid question but, who here goes to anime conventions?
I'm going to one called AniMore which will take place in Baltimore, I'm pretty excited

3 days of music, exhibitions, cosplays, video games, manga, etc.
Anyone here going?

Considering it, now that Otakon is moving. Still within walking distance.

Not crazy about going in January.

I haven't been to a convention since Anime Expo 2006. It was a lot of fun, but was a little overwhelming

Yeah I attend conventions, though not all of them are 100% geared toward the anime fandom. Biggest convention I go to annually is Megacon held in Orlando, Florida. There a few smaller ones in my local area every year. Most of my money ends up going towards things like art, figures, and other things. As for cosplay, I don't do it personally. My brother and some of my friends are into it though.

Also, a message to everyone that attends any sort of convention. Please use proper hygiene. Deodorant was invented for a reason.
