Default Lg 55uh6090

I saw a LG 55UH6090 4K TV at Walmart and was wanting your all's opinion about it and if I should get it or not. The price is very reasonable for me.

Tv only has 2 HDMI and I don't see any information about it being an IPS panel. But looks to be only 60HZ not the best for motion.

You should wait and get something with HDR. People keep talking about a Vizio P Series where a 50" is $1000 regular price right now but could easily go on sale for $800 or even $700. There's also a 50" Sony for $850 a Samsung for $900. Also a 55" Vizio M series that might also be ok for $900. I bet if you watch the prices they could all go on sale to $700 around the holidays. The Vizios and some of the LGs also have dolby vision with the HDR.

I would say hold off and see if you can get a different tv for close to the same price. XBR55X900C is a 55" Sony 4K that is an android smart tv that is 120HZ and supports high dynamic range. Best Buy had it for $799.99 during their Black Friday in July and I've seen it drop a couple of times at random. If you have the extra hundred I would recommend it. The tv is the thinnest tv they have ever made and that's a great price for it. The tv did have some light bleeding issue when it first came out but they were recalled and it was said to be fixed.

Default Vizio P-Series :: (make it happen)

while i would 'highly recommend' waiting for availability of the Vizio P-Series at CostCo (soon?), which was already priced at $800 at Best Buy during Memorial Day, there is an (interesting?) LG 43UH61 (with HDR Pro) similarly priced to what you are already looking at, that comes in larger sizes (if that is what you want), that is 'very reasonably priced (i believe that i paid $479 for the 43" and that the larger 50" or 55" might even be available for less that what you are currently looking at, which is not as 'new a model' as the UH61-Series) - just a thought or so

Thanks everyone who replied in this thread, appreciate it a lot. When I saw this TV at WalMart I didn't pay attention to HZ, I most def want 120HZ when I do buy a 4K TV.

When I do buy a 4K, it's between LG and Sony brand wise, the size I want is 55 inch.
