Any reason why this particular release is the straw that broke the camel's back?

It's a Zavvi exclusive. Zavvi... the company responsible for ruining Steelbook collecting and almost certainly responsible for the economic downturn, David Cameron becoming PM and World famine

Because it's only just been released in cinemas.
And also, because it'll be a high price. £30 is just a placeholder price, but I bet you anything, that when it does drop, that it won't drop below £20.

Zavvi is single handedly saturating the market to the point these are no longer colelctible but expected. Granted there are some winners but more fillers than anything. I havent bought any of them .

I am in NJ in USA and I ordered but saw nowhere to put in NJ as a state for the shipping address. Where are you guys putting in your state? It only asks for the County...

I have to say, I pretty much never buy the international Steels cuz they can be too expensive, but THIS is one I really wanna have. Not only one of my fav films of the year but I love the artwork here (plus, region free, so that's good). I'm gonna lock in a preorder for this puppy.

Hope all the extras will be the same as the US (or more)...guess I can always cancel if there's any major supplemental differences.

They seem to put "state" in "county". I've never ordered from them either but it automatically filled the state in when I put my address.

IMO they have made steelbook collecting not special anymore. I haven't bought a steelbook for quite some time now since every one and their mother gets them. I have yet to deal with Zavvi either.

Pretty sure that is just a placeholder price, doubled with a placeholder date.

I haven't seen this yet, and hoping to this coming weekend. This would be beautifully haunting if done right. But something tells me that either Best Buy or Target will get this as well in the US.

It's a film I want.

It won't be £30.

Day one for me.

if only the new releases were 15 pounds like the older releases 30 is just way too much for me.
