Amazing how long, and consistent this DCU animated line has been going.
I'm even more interested the nice BB exclusives with mini hardback GN and figure.

Looking forward to picking this up. However, I wish they would have kept the art style and costumes from the original comic rather than updating it to be in the current DC animated continuity.

Ditto. It's such a fantastic story that "modernizing" it just looks wrong.

I'm still going to watch it, but the level of excitement I had for it is nowhere near as high now.

It's not even current. The current DCAU is New 52 and the comics shut that down and have rebooted to Rebirth universe.

I hate the New 52 myself. I would have rather seen the original story as well.

I will probably most likely get the regular release of this cause i work in the morning before the store even opens up and wont be able to get an copy so its easier for myself to get the regular version anyone have an release date on this yet?.

I know this thread is for the steelbook but there is also confirmation that the figurine set will include Blue Beetle!

Any update on this? I don't see the steelbook on the Target website and it comes out in about a month.

I'll pick this up regardless, but not crazy about the artwork, surprisingly. But it does look like a cool entry to the series.

It could be an instore exclusive like in the past, but considering the last couple releases were online, I would keep your eye out for it.

The normal Amaray has been listed along with another listing with placeholder art still. My guess is this other listing will transition to the steelbook soon with the art and description. This other temp listing is being shown as available for pre-order online, in case anyone wants to get a head start and lock in their pre-order now can for shipping but the price is currently $19.99 for both versions.
