Gone from pretty much every online retailer besides Manga themselves. Have they pulled a 5 Centimeters and had an expiring license and the Blu-ray only released for 6 months odd?

My stock fears were nothing to worry about as it’s back with pretty much every retailer now.

This is pretty much a direct port of the Madman disc - it starts with their logo followed by the CN logo, and has all the same extras (the commentary and isolated score aren’t listed on the back, but are under the setup menu.)

The picture looks pretty good for the most part, except for some instances of digital banding (unless the gradients are REALLY meant to look like that.)

This is a good Halloween watch if only for the episode with the pumpkins.

I just tested it in my region A player and it's not locked, the menus and extras were all showing as 1080p so I don't think there should be any NTSC/PAL issues.

I grabbed a copy of the Madman blu-ray version from Amazon and it plays back on region A as well - which is something I've heard mixed reports about. Might be helpful considering the Manga UK version seems to be out of stock through Amazon UK proper.

I'm guessing that the Blu-ray is out of print now unless funimation is very kind enough to make more Blu-rays since didn't manga entertainment merge to funimation UK and Ireland?

That'd make sense- it doesn't seem to be in stock from Amazon direct anymore. The Madman AUS version is OOP as well as they no longer hold the CN license, so get one of them while you can.

I sold my copy recently and had no idea it was in demand. Was very surprised when the bidding kept going up!
