Default Thanks to Warner/New Line and the BDA

Just thought I'd start a seperate thread for people to show their appreciation to Warner for making the right decision and putting an end to the hi-def war. Of course the BDA needs to be thanked and praised as well becasue they must have been talking to WB for a long time convicing them of the right way to go. Awesome way to start out the new year and in perfect time to stir up CES leaving many to scramble of what to do next. Me thinks Universal will be doing some restructuring of their leadership followed by an eventual change to Blu.

I second that notion. Our library has an even greater capacity to grow now with WB and New Line on board! Unfortunately, I will be broke even more... lol... however, the fulfillment of watching movies on BD far surpasses any financial hits I might suffer as a result of such. Way to go WB, BDA, and BD!

I agree. I really appreciate all of the marketing efforts put forth by the BDA and love the fact that the "other side" wasn't on par with them in advertising.

This war is over, despite the few HD-DVD supporters still out there that refuse to give in. You know it's over when HD-DVD cancels their conference at the biggest show of the year.

We have been waiting for this day to come everyone.

ENJOY IT!!!

THE FUTURE IS BLU!!!

Way to go Warner, thanks for taking that final step and ending this counterproductive war for everyone. Now we can all get what we want!
