Default Need recommendations on 4k tv please.

If you would provide a amazon link or something to your recommendation I'd appreciate it.

I want a TV for my game room and I might as well get a 4k since I'm getting a ps4 pro. I need about 50inch since it will be right in front of my recliner, I want native 120hz refresh and HDR.

I'd like to stick with Samsung or Sony, always had good luck with their tvs. And I'd like to stay sub 1200 bucks.

I have the Samsung 65KS8000, its 4K, and has HDR. It also got a firmware update recently so you can use HDR while in game mode. I play PS4 on it daily, and love it!

another vote for the Samsung 8000 ... it's currently $1799 at Costco... and it's worth every penny! Every blu title I watch on this TV either looks terrific or at the very least better than I've ever seen it.

I have had the KS8500 for about a month. Everything looks great on it, including high def netflix streaming, cable etc. Obviously 4K blu rays look insane.

Best,
Jamie

LG has just slashed the prices of their 55 and 65 inch OLEDs. You won't find a better set and, unlike Samsungs, they also include 3D that looks better than what you see in many theaters. Easily the best bang for the buck, no matter what format appeals to you.

Besides the price and the stand, is there any real noticeable difference between the KS8000 and 9000?

No - all of the reviews I read have said to save your money and get the KS8000.

The reviews also say that the KS8000 is the best available 4K TV outside of OLED right now, so for roughly $1200 for a 55" or $1500 for a 65", it is a great deal with all of the newest technology included, minus 3D.
