Col Tavington Or Archibald Cunningham

Who do you think is the more dastardly villain? In the red corner we have Jason Isaac's Col Tavington from The Patriot and in the blue corner we have Rob Roy's Archibald Cunningham played by Tim Roth. My vote easily goes to Col Tavington. Jason Isaacs is just wicked in this role. I will have to go back and watch Rob Roy again.

That is awful but Col Tavington had a church burned down with innocent civilians inside. I remember Cunningham as being more eccentric as opposed to evil. I'm not saying I didn't think he was awful. I forgot that he did that.

haha, I know it's an old film but I wonder if I should have spoilered that. And I forgot that John Hurt was in Rob Roy. I do know John and Tim were in The Hit together. That's one of the few Criterions that I have opened.
