just got mine on Monday this week haven't opened yet
also still got US Anchor Bay w/s 1.66:1/16/9 DVD
and the Swiss VIP original aspect 1.85:1/16/9 DVD
both above Dvd's have extras that don't appear to be included on bluray

running time says 95m on blu ray while both dvds say 94m aswell

The movie and menu played without a problem on my Sony region A players.

Ilsa the Mad Butcher looks very good. I would rate it a 4. Good grain, great colour and very good black levels. On par with the "Jack the Ripper" blu-ray reviewed on this site here:

The English audio sounded crisp and clear.

Unfortunately, only the "Jack the Ripper Trailer" and the photo gallery worked on my region-A setup. All the other extras came up blank.

Great movie....now we need the rest of them.

yeh i would agree with above, and read Pro B's excellent review of Jack the Ripper
and as same company releasing these its good news as rest of there Jess Franco Collection should be just as good

PQ and Audio Quality was better than DVD releases
close up shots look great in 1080p, wider exterior Jungle shots at start don't look as good but this was same on dvd,
(has 2-3 secs of inferior print around 51m, this was also in DVD)
extras ok,
22 lobby cards gallery
has 11m interview with Dietrich and Franco, is Eng with Eng subs
6 trailers are all in German, Jack The Ripper, Ilsa Mad Butcher, Voodoo Passion
3 of these have french subs burnt in (Blue Rita, Women in Cellblock 9, Sexy Sisters)

(note, missing the audio commentary from Anchor Bay DVD)

also D Gray didn't have any FSK Rating as part of cover,
but other release's have large ratings as part of cover (not sticker),
good news is there reversible with much smaller rating on back

I've got Voodoo Passion, and while the picture was nice and clear, I was surprised by how dark the movie was, like they filmed the only thing in the shade. Is it supposed to look like that?

Have previous DVD versions, and they were much, much brighter. Did they overexpose those earlier DVD's, or drop the ball on this Blu-ray?
