I must say, although I live in the US, seeing this makes me very giddy and glad to see it having the amount of success as it is. As a huge Dawn of the Dead fan, I would love to see a new definitive collection of the movies outside of the one from Italy which only remastered the Argento cut. I definitely will be keeping an eye on this and will certainly check it out once it is released to the public.

I'd be excited if I knew what he was saying in the video. Something about a 35mm presentation being used for a new 4K scan?

35 mm print of the 1978 European cut of the film
too bad they almost made it for a 4k blu ray (needed 50 000 Euros and got 49 855 Euros)
it is however the best blu ray of the movie available on the market with 3 cuts of the movie
1978 119 min European cut
1978 139 min long version showed at Cannes festival
1979 US director's cut
aswell as an open matte version as a bonus

They confirmed (on their FB page) they'll make a 4k UHD anyway

Thankfully! It would seem a tad petty if they didn't over a mere quibble of 150 euros.
