What's the average wait time between a film's restoration and blu-ray release?

It varies. It could be less than a year to several years.

I can't wait. This is one of the titles I've been most looking forward to being released on blu-ray.

Just revisited this masterpiece on DVD a few days ago. It was restored and scanned almost four years ago. Why hasn't a BD release been announced yet. Has anyone heard anything?

It IS on Blu-ray disc. Import it.
Look on Amazon DE or JP.
